The South Shore Regional Emergency Communications Center (SSRECC) is the primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for the towns of Cohasset, Hingham, Hull and Norwell. We are staffed with 25 full-time employees: Executive Director, Deputy Director, five supervisors and 18 communication specialists. We are a 24-hour operation with three shifts: 12 a.m. to 8 a.m., 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.

The main office is located at 210 Central Street inside the Hingham Town Hall. SSRECC is governed by a board of directors comprised of the town administrators of the towns we serve.
